Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Program (MMUF)

  • Have two years remaining before graduation
  • Have an overall GPA of 3.5
  • Be determined to pursue a PhD and an academic career in one of the MMUF fields
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident

McNair Program 

  • Commitment to pursuing doctoral studies
  • Junior/Senior (minimum 60 credit hours)
  • Member of an underrepresented group or a first generation and low income
  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum GPA 3.0

ROP (Research Opportunity Program) 

  • Interest in pursuing graduate/professional school
  • Sophomore/Junior
  • Member of an underrepresented group

El Puente Fellows Program
El Centro de la Raza’s El Puente Fellows Research Program supports and promotes undergraduate research in multiple academic areas. It offers 20 strong undergraduate students the opportunity to prepare for graduate level education over the course of two-semesters. El Puente Fellows work closely with graduate mentors, faculty and increase understanding and experience of academic research.
