UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY CONFERENCE (UROC)

SAVE THE DATE! - 2019 UROC will be held on April 18, Thursday.

The annual Undergraduate Research Opportunity Conference features research and creative works by our UNM undergraduate students.  All majors and phases of projects are celebrated from proposals to completed work. Participant abstracts are published in the Conference Program, and students can include their presentation on resumes, CVs, and graduate school applications.

Important Dates

  • November 10 - Online Registration (Abstract Submission) openedsubmission abstract
  • February 6 at 12:00 noon - Abstract Workshop at Zimmerman Library Room B30
  • March 1 - Deadline of Registration (Abstract Submission)
  • March 15 - Nortification to Students

If you would still like to be involved in UROC you can participate as Volunteer/Evaluator.  Volunteering is easy. Simply fill out the Online Volunteer Form and a member of the UROC Team will be in touch with you.

Oral Presentation  You present your research project within 10 minutes (AV is available).

Poster Presentation Poster, combining text and graphics, presents your research project visually.  

Special exhibition The projects include but are not limited to art installation, musical performance, and creative display.

UROC180 You present your research in just 180 seconds to the general audience.
